CSL are hiring a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to join our Global Logistics team. You’ll manage contact with a variety of stakeholders and product recipients across our global supply chain, ensuring our life saving products reach their destination on-time and meeting our critical quality requirements.

Reporting to the Associate Director Global Quality Operations Affiliates & Logistics you’ll work as part of a global team. This role is a full time permanent position and can be based in either **Kankakee (US) or Melbourne (Australia).** Remote/Hybrid working is available with occasional site visits required to manage product quality requirements.

**Your responsibilities**
- Timely completion of transport verification of shipment executed by Global Logistics based on temperature data and shipping documents
- Acting as the first point of contact and SME for logistics deviations, transport verification and provide support to Affiliate/site of manufacturing on logistics quality topics and quality processes related to logistics deviations / CAPA, as well as transport verification
- Support the initiation, designing, implementation and approval of Global Change Control activities for Global Quality Logistics
- Support the development and maintenance of Global Affiliate Quality Operations procedural documents as assigned (providing input, reviewing, managing, and approving DMS processes for new/updated documents)
- Assure effective communication with internal/external stakeholders in a global organisation, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, improvements, risks, and emerging issues
- Support Affiliate US with release to market activities as well as in-Market deviations and investigations (can be done remotely).

**Your experience**
- A Degree in a Scientific Discipline/Life Sciences would be preferred, degrees in other fields will be considered if accompanied by significant relevant experience.
- At least 1-3 years of experience working within a manufacturing/logistics or quality environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
- Basic knowledge in GxP processes with knowledge of global Pharmaceutical Industry regulations/ICH guidelines would be beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with demonstrable stakeholder/supplier management experience
- Ability to work in a global role, on rare occasions out of hours availability will be requested
- Fluency in English required (writing/verbal), any other languages are an asset
