**Delivering the Vision**

Based in Melbourne, this role will take responsibility for leading and inspiring the local and internationally based logistics team. This position will be key in assisting the organisation achieve its ambitious growth target through the execution of best practice initiatives and ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and process optimisation programme that incorporates e-commerce retail, B2B and B2C omni-sales channels and network integration.

In addition to your technical excellence, you will have a track record of success developing a high performing team with a dynamic, collaborative culture that is adaptive to change and committed to best in class outcomes. You will provide inspirational leadership and motivational coaching to your team, based locally and remotely. You will have the clear ability to influence and build relationships in a cross-matrix, multi-regional reporting structure to underpin the business partnering and value-add that this role can provide to support the business units during a period of rapid growth.

In short, you will be a crisp, forward thinking Logistics Manager or Director with excellent communication skills, empathy, vision and capability to drive a top tier performance whilst dealing with the complexity of scope, scale and remoteness. Applicants from a large FMCG, Consumer Products, Retail, Freight Forwarding or 3PL with an international focus would be highly relevant.
