**About AViat Global**
AViat Global, an Australian owned company, is a CASR Part 145 approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) with its main operations based at Melbourne Airport. We provide maintenance services, resource, and logistics support to various operators on numerous aircraft types.
**The role**
We are currently seeking a Supply and Logistics Manager to oversee the Supply and Logistics activities of AViat Global including management of staff, Purchasing of Aircraft parts / Ground support equipment, Vendor selection and control.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Manage inventory levels of parts and consumables and tooling processes.
- Ensure compliance with Aviat policy and procedures to meet the CASA Pt145 regulations and other customer requirements.
- Manage the activities and staffing levels of the Supply and Logistics coordinators and other staff within the department.
- Maintain safe working practices within Aviat and WorkSafe guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with the parts and tooling procedures of Aviat and its customers.
- Active involvement in all AVG investigations, audits, and inspections as required.
- Manage stores KPI’s, business initiatives, staff requirements as they relate to supply and logistics issues.
- Comply with Aviat Quality and Safety Management Systems
- Participate in staff selection, performance appraisals and development.
- Develop business improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with management, suppliers, and customers.
- Qualifications in Logistics management, Aircraft engineering or another relevant field
- Extensive experience in Supply/Logistics in a senior role
- Full understanding of Aviation requirements
- Management experience
- A high level of computer competency
- Safety approach focus
