**About the Organisation**:
The Next Step have partnered with a third-generation family-owned Australian organisation, celebrating their 90th year in operation. They are a unique business, known for their mechanical and electrical engineering expertise, and are the largest manufacturers of power and distribution transformer solutions in Australia. They operate two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Victoria and service facilities nationwide.

**Your Role**

In this role, you will play a critical part in acquiring new talent across various disciplines, ranging from skilled and unskilled manufacturing resources to professional engineers, sales and contract engineers, technicians, and support roles. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to shaping the organisation as an employer of choice, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with key stakeholders, to understand staffing needs and priorities;
- Designing and implementing creative recruitment strategies to attract talent from various sources, both conventional platforms and online platforms;
- Ensuring compliance with recruitment policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to maintain a fair and inclusive recruitment process;
- Engaging in both domestic and international talent acquisition, including acquiring talent from overseas markets;
- Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement in the recruitment and talent acquisition process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**About You**

To excel in this role, you will have:

- Thorough experience in specialist recruitment within a professional HR or recruitment team;
- In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding;
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to network internally and externally;
- Expertise in developing attraction and sourcing strategies, including utilising an array of platforms.
