The team behind much-loved venues Convoy Moonee Ponds, Tinker Northcote & HIFI Collingwood brings you an exciting position for a Venue Manager to join & help lead our team in one of Melbourne's favourite destination cafes, Terror Twilight, Collingwood.

The venue has become a Collingwood institution and prides itself on its point of difference within the hospitality industry; with a focus on delivering exceptional service and products, establishing meaningful relationships with our customers and community, and cultivating a new generation of leaders within the hospitality industry.

We are seeking a like-minded, genuinely passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced hospitality individual to take on a central leadership position within this business. In return, we can offer:

The role itself would involve:

- Day-to-day operations of the venue
- Rostering
- Assisting in the recruitment and training of employees
- Upholding and maintaining a high standard of service and products
- Assist in the creation of effective systems and processes
- Satisfying wage and COG targets
- Attending and running regular management and staff meetings
- Ordering responsibilities
- Working both weekend days
- Contributing to decision-making and team discussions
- Previous management or leadership experience in the hospitality industry (minimum 2 years experience)
- A passion for all things food, coffee, and customer service and experience
- Advanced, interpersonal communication skills
- Driven attitude and strong working ethic
- Previous experience in achieving financial targets
- Attention to detail (the extra 1%’s)
- Strong, all-round FOH skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
- Current RSA certificate

Also desired but not mandatory:

- A love of all things music and vinyl
- Experience using IMPOS
- Experience using Deputy
- Understanding of Excel
- Barista experience or coffee knowledge
