**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Power Solutions Manager, you will responsible for SA & VIC state based MV sales numbers and work in partnership with the local sales teams to develop the **right** project opportunities and as much as possible create additional sales attachment with NHPs low voltage, motor control, and automation product and services businesses. With a deep understanding of your customers, you will develop the best and most effective sales proposals in the market, tapping into wider resources within the business.

The key business development focus will be the SA / VIC markets, however occasionally you will be supporting the national NHP MV business on strategic project where you may work collaboratively with other state sales teams. From time to time you may also be asked to participate in internal working groups related to sales tool developments / process improvements.

**Technology area - Medium Voltage focus**

**Predominantly focusing on Defence (70%) and Electrical Consultants - Critical Infrastructure in VIC and Regional VIC (30%)**

Other responsibilities include:

- Building & maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to achieve designated sales targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies utilising available marketing programs
- Coordination of customer presentations, highlighting products, solutions & service capabilities and how they improve outcomes

To be successful for this role you will have a very strategic approach. You will need to be proactive, flexible, willing to influence the right people & work collaboratively on a range of projects.

**Ideally you will have / be**:

- **Electrical or Electrical Engineering related qualification (highly regarded) OR solid Technical aptitude**:

- **Significant experience working with MV equipment and products (would hold you in good stead)**:

- A track record in delivering sales results & servicing customer needs
- An ability to ‘listen to the customer’ & translate needs into business solutions
- Exceptional communicator with strong influencing & relationship building skills
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
- Effective time management & organizational skills
- An aptitude to learn
