**The role**

You'll have the opportunity to develop a deep unerstanding of energy value drivers for customers through both behind the meter supply and demand initiatives, intregtated with grid supply souluitions and provide commercial support to strategic accounts and M&A opportunities and assist with key financial planning initiatives, including identification and regular reporting of key value drivers and metrics.

Commercial and financial analysis of strategic accounts and M&A
- Perform detailed analysis to understand customers' energy and emissions profiles and identify potential product offerings to meet the customer's goals and objectives.
- Undertake financial modelling of integrated grid supply and behind the meter solutions to support potential co-investment opportunities with strategic customers
- Preparation of presentations and analysis to communicate opportunities, including recommendations to key internal stakeholders.
- Providing financial analysis to aid decision making in relation to potential acquisitions

Strategic and financial planning
- Assist with regular reporting of business performance
- Providing assistance in the preparation of budgets and forecasts that underpin the delivery of the Origin Zero long term financial plan and strategy.
- Assist with strategic analysis including market scanning, competitor and industry intelligence.
- Prepare and be able to present discussion materials for Senior Management

**About you**
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in Finance, Commerce, Economics or Engineering and Commercial experience analysing and modelling markets, technologies and commodities.
- Sound commercial judgement, project coordination and experience in commercial and financial analysis.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and financial modelling skills using MS Excel, ability to translate raw information into strategic insights and initiatives to solve complex problems.
