**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Pricing Analyst is part of a supportive team that provides analysis and reporting to support the development of pricing methodologies and risk decision making. The position is responsible for creating bespoke prices for Origin’s largest customers (across electricity, gas and carbon), ensuring that they align with the strategic portfolio and risk objectives.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Delivering complex pricing methodologies;
- Providing analysis of portfolio risk;
- Identify risks associated with large customer products;
- Provide concise, timely advice on cost reflective pricing methodologies and strategies and specific customer/customer class pricing as required and in line with group priorities;
- Maintain strong communication channels between various internal stakeholders;
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiencies and decrease processing time.

**IS THE YOU?**

You will be able to showcase your analytical and numerical capabilities. We will also consider highly talented graduates with tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. economics, commerce, engineering, finance, mathematics, science) or equivalent experience.

You’re experienced in:

- Strategic thinker capable of identifying, quantifying, and developing value adding solutions for Origin’s portfolio
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing others with structured and reasoned arguments, as required
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities to demanding time constraints
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and be accountable for those decisions
- Ability to develop strong relationships and effectively communicate to audiences from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent computer literacy in MS Office packages, specifically MS Excel
- SQL experience will be highly regarded
