**THE ROLE**

End User Computing operate across all areas of Origin, delivering IT equipment and services that improve productivity and keep staff connected to the people, tools and systems they need to do their job.

Reporting to the IT Asset Manager for Workplace Technologies in a **12 month contract** as IT Asset Analyst - Workplace Technologies you will be joining the team and providing first class service with regards to asset life cycle management.

This role Is a key position within the team and requires a proven level experience and understanding with regards to process management, Influencing Internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice with regards to asset management life cycle processes, and being able to report on the hardware technology deployed across all Origin locations within Australia.

The role responsibilities also include:

- Work as part of a team taking ownership of the quality of IT asset data and ensure data accuracy.
- Perform diagnostic analysis and exception reporting to detect anomalies and mis-matches between the main asset database and the data feeds from different inventory tools.
- Provide analysis and diagnostic results to the IT Asset Manager.
- Ensure the data workflows from various systems are delivering the expected level of quality and accuracy. Escalate identified process or system issues to the IT Asset Manager.
- Deliver hardware reporting obligations on time with a high degree of accuracy.

**IS THIS YOU?**

More importantly you will have or can show:

- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- A good understanding of the IT Asset Lifecycle and knowledge of hardware asset management is expected.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills. Willing to learn and work under pressure.
- Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with mínimal supervision.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to leverage automation for process workflows to minimise manual handling of asset management processes.
- ITIL certification will be highly regarded.
- In-depth experience using ITAM tools and ITSM tools such as Service Now will be advantageous.
