As a Carbon Compliance Analyst you will play a crucial role in ensuring Origin Zero’s compliance with various environmental schemes and will support reporting obligations by analysing data, unit transfers and maintaining compliance records. We are looking for a highly analytical and numerate professional with a strong understanding of the renewable energy market and regulatory environments who is passionate about partnering with businesses on their sustainability goals.

**What will this role involve?**
- **Data Insight**:Dive deep into electricity data to determine regulatory reporting requirements for green and carbon schemes. Your analytical skills will be crucial in this role.
- **Risk Management**:Protect Origin from strategic exposure by diligently managing regulatory and financial risks in the dynamic carbon market landscape.
- **Operational Efficiency**:Be at the forefront of process improvement, developing methodologies and systems that enhance our operational efficiency in meeting compliance requirements.
- **Stakeholder Trust**:Deliver monthly reports that provide transparency and assurance to internal stakeholders, contributing to our forecasting and planning efforts.
- **Innovation**:Embrace change and take the lead in identifying and communicating new and complex issues. Your insights will drive continuous improvement in our compliance systems.

**What are we looking for?**
- Similar experience in an Analyst role ideally in Carbon Compliance or a similar field
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant quantitative discipline
- Understanding of the renewable energy market and regulatory environments
- Strong numerate and analytical skills using Microsoft Excel and Tableau Reports
- Proven experience in process improvement and the ability to identify and communicate complex issues
