We have a newly created position available for a Payroll Compliance Specialist. You will utilise your distinctive blend of regulatory knowledge, payroll experience, analytical skills and interpersonal abilities to drive the implementation and upkeep of payroll compliance across the Pacific Region (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, PNG).

**We will count on you to**:

- Ensure overall payroll compliance within regulatory framework.
- Implement audit processes including development of necessary payroll reports.
- Examine payrolls processes to ensure they are up-to-date, legally compliant, and up to the highest industry standards, including wages, pay rates and tax withholdings.
- Analyse the systems, processes and structures of the existing payroll administration to identify errors and deficiencies and recommend procedure changes.
- Work closely with the payroll operations team based in India, to drive improvements and implement recommendations in response to legislation change.

**What you need to have**:

- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll and/or payroll auditing.
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax regulatory requirements.
- Experience interpreting multiple industrial pay conditions.
- Ability to interpret relevant legislation, awards and compliance requirements.
- Capability to think independently, suggest improvements, analyse and interpret payroll data, identify and mitigate risk and to advocate change when necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
