**About The Role**

Join our innovative Digital and Data team as we embark on a groundbreaking journey We are excited to introduce the inaugural role of a Content Specialist. The content specialist will play a crucial role in the successful migration of content during the replatforming of our B2B website.

As the Content Specialist, you will take ownership of content migration, creation, and optimization to enhance user experience, engagement, and support our B2B digital objectives. The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content migration, CMS platforms, and a deep understanding of user experience principles. The Content Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to shaping the digital landscape of our B2B platform.

**The responsibilities of the role
- Conduct thorough content audit, evaluating quality, relevance, and performance.
- Develop content strategy aligned with goals, audience, and user experience objectives.
- Identify content gaps and define the types of content needed.
- Create a content migration plan in coordination with the broader project timeline.
- Ensure smooth migration of content from the old website to the new platform, ensuring all content is accurately transferred and without loss.
- Generate and update content for new platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to acquire missing content.
- Optimise content to align with the new platform's design and functionalities.
- Perform regular checks and tests to ensure error-free display and functionality of all content elements.
- Collect user feedback to refine content during replatforming.
- Ensure content meets high-quality standards and user experience goals.
- Maintain, update, and manage website content for freshness and relevance.
- Develop original, compelling content reflecting brand value. Analyse metrics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance.

- Prior experience in website replatforming and content migration is essential.
- Proficiency in using various CMS platforms for content publication and management.
- Proficiency in automating content migration across platforms (Highly desirable)
- Strong ability to work autonomously and drive deliverables independently.
- Skilled in using analytics tools to make data-driven content decisions.
- People management experience is desirable.
- Critical thinker with cross-functional problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Ecommerce Content Management Systems (e.g., Magento, Sitecore, Contentful).
- Effective organisational and communication skills.
- Adaptability to changing trends and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Awareness of copyright laws, content usage rights, and compliance standards (desired).
- Proficient in tracking content performance metrics and generating reports.
- Passion for eCommerce and understanding of customer experience importance.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite. Foundational project management skills and experience with agile project methodology (desired).

**Education/Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 4 years of experience in a similar eCommerce role.
