To ensure our continued high level of service to the business we are now seeking a **Payroll Specialist** to join our high performing People & Culture team.
**This is a permanent role working 4.5 hours a day, 5 days a week with the ability to work from home 2-3 days per week.**
**About the role**
This role is primarily responsible for the end to end management and processing of NEC’s monthly/fortnightly payroll for all staff and the provision of a high quality comprehensive payroll service, ensuring that salaries and expenses are paid within the regulatory framework.
**Duties**:
- End to end payroll administration, management and reporting and timesheet administration
- Meeting deadlines for government and other third party payments
- Provision of customer service to employees and managers, providing responses to their payroll related queries
- Database management including position management and employee variations
- Reporting, end of month processes and end of fiscal year
- Supporting or managing payroll optimisation projects, as assigned by the Manager
Experience and skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a similar role
- Experience working in a large, global organisation
- Knowledge and experience using Chris21
- Advanced use of Excel
