Let’s talk about the Opportunity
Reporting to the Risk Manager, you will support the management of operational risks that originate via line 1 activities. You will be responsible for bringing together specialist risk data and insights which will support the identification and management of key risk metrics and indicators, to support the business unit in the delivery of their outcomes within an effective risk culture and management of controls, incidents, issues and actions.
- Support Technology & Operations Risk Managers with incident management processes and procedures and monitoring of metrics
- Partner with BU Leads to ensure business risks are identified and managed and where risk has materialised (risk events/incidents) these are captured and remediated appropriately.
- Monitor control performance and impact to risk ratings
- Prepare and distribute monthly insights and content for effective risk forums
- Analyse trends and risk indicators to measure performance and identify potentially systemic issues
- Support the management of risk within change projects and supplier arrangements in relation to Enterprise Services BU’s.
- Support Head of Risk & Compliance with executing on strategy and improvement opportunities including automation of reporting or controls

Who we are after?
You will have a solid understanding of operational processes and procedures. You are a natural when it comes to influencing and are able to articulate complex risk scenarios.
- Sound commercial acumen with the ability to translate methodology into an operational environment.
- Previous exposure to Protecht or similar Risk Management systems would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing and changing priorities
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Power BI or systems such as Tableau
