**YOUR NEXT COMPANY**:
Our client are a sizeable national business. They offer various products and services which are catered for the Construction, Property, Mining sectors. They like to hire passionate people and are motivated and driven to really own their role and buy into the vision of the business. They are looking to hire a Sales BDM to sell their products and services to Facilities and Building Managers.

**YOUR NEXT ROLE**:
You will be tasked with developing new business leads for the company. This is a solutions focused selling role to meet individual client requirements. A large portion of your role will be out on the road building relationships, looking at a greater share of wallet, cold calling new clients, managing expectations, quoting and pricing, working with the estimation team on tendering and bidding for works on a range of projects, seeking out opportunities for the business in your region and servicing existing customers ensuring that the business is providing what they need. This role will involve sales into Retrofit Construction & Facilities Market.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience in solutions based technical B2B sales
- Experience achieving or overachieving sales targets
- Experience with new business development as well as account management
- You will have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills and positive personality
- Hunger to be successful
- Capable at using MS Excel
- Full work rights
- Drivers License

**Desirable Criteria**:
You may have worked as a Sales Rep for a company providing sub contractor services such as HVAC, Height Safety, Roofing, Flooring, Fire Protection, Carpentry, Labour Hire.
- A trade background would be advantageous but not essential.
- Exposure to a form of design software (such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam) and estimating systems (such as Bidcontender or Estimateone)
