Role Description

This full-time on-site role as a Business Development Manager (BDM) is based in the Greater Melbourne Area. The BDM will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and negotiating contracts to drive revenue growth. On a day-to-day basis, the role involves developing strategic plans, analyzing market trends, coordinating with internal teams, and preparing detailed proposals for prospective clients. As the face of StateGuard, the BDM will represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and other networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Negotiation
  • Experience in Sales Strategy, Market Analysis, and Proposal Preparation
  • Proficiency in Communication, Presentation, and Problem-Solving skills
  • Understanding of the security services industry and the ability to tailor solutions to client needs
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in business development, preferably within the security or related industries
