KB Food Co is Australia's largest seafood company and one of the most awarded and successful food service operators and the largest privately owned operator of Western Rock Lobster. We provide over 50,000 tonnes of seafood annually to leading foodservice operators and major supermarkets.

**About the Role**:
Place orders, receipting and price management of production and seafood items and support end to end supply chain for portfolio of products in given business unit.

**Responsibilities**:

- Source, select and negotiate best purchasing in terms of quality, price, and lead times
- Responsible for placing orders for the replenishment of stock, “buy-in” items, and special orders
- Maintain sales administration functions with Major customers on specified products as required.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal/external stakeholders and customers
- Prepare, process and issue purchase orders
- Plan and manage inventory levels of materials
- Maintain complete, correct and up to date purchase records, data, and pricing
- Manage reconciliation of all incoming documentation with vendor invoices
- Follow up with suppliers on overdue purchase orders and ensure the accuracy of delivery due dates within SAP

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in supply, purchasing or planning are preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Purchasing role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated self-management skills including effective time management, multi-tasking and organising skills
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
