**Role**:About you**:
As a Asset Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless delivery of services to our clients. You will communicate with our Operations Manager and Service Coordinator to facilitate excellent client service.
your primary responsibility is to provide efficient & effective coordination and support of the asset services to maintain the properties to the required standard for livability for our tenants. You will be responsible for coordinating planned maintenance and asset refurbishment, property condition assessments and completing vacate and entry inspections on identified properties. A key component of the position is determining scope of works, data collection, data entry, reporting and analysis.
The role requires demonstrated experience in collaboration and coordination to ensure an exceptional tenant, contractor and stakeholder experience that results in improving outcomes for tenants and their communities.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
**Essential selection criteria**:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Disability care sector.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage work effectively under pressure.
- Collaborative team player.
- Honest, trustworthy, reliable.
- Great communication skills
- A desire to help others
- An aptitude to learn new systems and high degree of computer literacy
- A love of problem solving/logic games
- A wicked sense of humour - absolutely essential
- Valid Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.

**Desirable**:
- Previous experience preferred in a similar role

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Asset Procurement**: Coordinate the procurement of assets according to company needs and budget constraints. This may involve researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts.
- **Asset Tracking**: Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset inventory system to track the location, condition, and status of all company assets. This includes both physical assets (e.g., equipment, vehicles) and digital assets (e.g., software licenses, intellectual property).
- **Asset Maintenance**: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that assets are properly maintained and serviced. Coordinate repairs and replacements as needed to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
- **Asset Disposal**: Manage the disposal of obsolete or surplus assets in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This may involve coordinating auctions, sales, donations, or recycling efforts.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asset transactions, including purchases, transfers, and disposals. Generate regular reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and lifecycle costs to support decision-making processes.
