**THE ROLE**
Due to constant growth and gaining market share nationally, the business is seeking a seasoned Purchasing and Procurement Professional to manage and continually unite relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders alike.

The role will report to the Supply Manager and is responsible for sourcing spare parts and assisting internal stakeholders in locating spare parts, ensuring reasonable price and lead times are met.

**DUTIES**
Procurement
- Manage the procurement process and the supply base efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships.
- Support departmental goals and objectives.
- Coordinate demand and supply plans.
- Order stock (local and import purchasing)
- Manage work orders and stocktakes.
- Arrange transfer orders.
- Monitor and anticipate stock levels for trends and out-of-stock situations.
- Champion supplier backorders and coordinate special order items.
- Raise purchase orders and manage variances.
- Support initiatives to improve service to customers.

Purchasing
- Assist in identifying requirements for goods, materials, and services.
- Assist with negotiations and delivery terms.
- Establishing order quantities.
- Coordinating delivery with warehouse.
- Assist with researching supplier options to expand the vendor base.
- Carry out periodic supplier performance management including the generation of monthly and quarterly performance reporting.
- Assist in the coordination of Inventory control processes and procedures.

- Uphold OH&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- SAP, data entry and generating reports.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Great communication skills.
