Technician / Production Coordinator

Location: Canning Vale, Perth

Hours: Full-time | 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive + Super (based on experience)

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Technician / Production Coordinator to join our Custom Solutions team in Canning Vale, Perth.

This unique hybrid role combines hands-on assembly and testing with production coordination, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.

About the Role

In this role, you'll work across both fabrication and production planning, building assemblies and supporting production flow to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery for our customers.

You will:


• Assemble and test fluid and gas systems using Swagelok components and industry best practices


• Perform technical tasks such as tube bending, swaging and pressure testing


• Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase orders for project components


• Coordinate material availability and collaborate with technicians to keep jobs on schedule


• Maintain job documentation and support continuous improvement across the production process


• Liaise with internal teams and vendors to support project logistics and on-time deliver

What We're Looking For

Essential:


• Sound mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly or trade experience


• High attention to detail and commitment to quality


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills


• Ability to prioritise tasks and strong organizational skills


• Comfortable working with technical drawings, documentation, and Microsoft Office


• A collaborative, team-oriented attitude


• Proficient Computer Skills

Desirable:


• Experience in instrumentation tube bending, swaging, or similar fabrication techniques


• Understanding of P&IDs and fluid system components


• Previous experience in a production coordination or purchasing role


• Forklift license
