**Requirements**:
**About the role**:
Based in Banksmeadow & part of the Transport Department, this role reports to the Warehouse & Transportation Manager to process client requests, bookings, documentation & invoicing whilst coordinating freight with internal & external stakeholders.

**What you will be doing**:

- Transport Coordination
- Handle client requests & bookings
- Generate appropriate shipment & transport documents
- Work closely with Operations & Customs departments to organise cargo pick-ups & drop-offs
- Issue cartage documentation to relevant stakeholders
- Invoicing
- Ensure all transport & cartage costs are advised & given to operations before delivery & pick-up
- Ensure COD basis shipments are invoiced & monies collected before the release of cargo
- Supplier Invoicing
- Process supplier invoices & send them to the Accounts department
- Match accruals & estimates with invoices before approval
- Dispute & raise incorrect invoices to the relevant department
- Deliver feedback to Senior Management to enable constant improvement towards the department & its employees
- Ensure maximum efficiency & profit on shipments.

Essential:

- Minimum two years as Transport Coordinator or related field
- Proficient knowledge of the freight forwarding & logistics supply chain industry

Desirable:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and time management
- Capable of multitasking and working as a team
