DGI Global is actively seeking an Operations Manager for our Sydney Office, working on-site Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5:00 pm. We are looking for like-minded people who have a willingness to learn, are quick to adapt and strive to deliver high-quality outcomes. We need staff who are positive, self-motivated and want to be part of a professional team of Dangerous Goods Specialists.

You will be required to run the day-to-day operation including; liaising and managing customers, managing bookings and preparing both domestic and international movements for uplift. The role will also involve working with our sales teams to actively grow the core business through identifying and targeting new business opportunities.

**Your duties will include**:

- Monitor performance of the branch’s operations and sales performance ensuring that necessary standards are met
- Ensure high levels of customer service and efficient and timely communication
- Day-to-day operational management including coordination of bookings freight/Logistics. Find solutions to difficult airfreight and logistics problems
- Account management including attending to quotes
- Manage and be responsible for Business Development, Operation Specialists and drivers
- Manage company vehicles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to cope with multiple large-scale responsibilities
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a growing and changing organisation
- Build upon the reputation through meeting client expectations and providing exemplary service
- General Administration including managing branch budget, billing and financial reporting

**You can demonstrate**:

- Previous industry experience in an airfreight management role
- You'll need to be confident in performing administrative tasks
- Strong communicator that can build and maintain relationships
- Committed and reliable
- Proactive and self-motivated
- DG accredited would be an advantage, but training will be provided

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
