**About our Role**:
In this exciting newly created role, you will provide dynamic leadership of state based sales teams within the Simplot Australia Foodservice team for Victoria and Tasmania. As our State Sales Manager, you will provide local insight and market intelligence into developing, implementing and adapting the channel strategy for profitable growth. The role has an important emphasis on tactical execution of the Foodservice Commercial Operations plan.
The role has a critical part to play in working alongside our state and regional customers, including the development of business plans that align customer strategy with Simplot’s growth and categories. The role is pivotal in leading, developing and coaching state sales teams. The role must be able to effectively manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders to deliver Simplot’s Commercial and overall company strategy.
**What will you do**:
- Delivery of the state and regional financial budget for Simplot’s Foodservice Distributor customer base within the Catering Channel measured in Gross Sales Value, Net Sales Value.
- Manage implementation of corrective action and/or develop channel initiatives to achieve the annual budget for Simplot’s Foodservice Distributor customer base.
- Accountable for the management of state and regional trade spend and utilization of appropriate systems to control and adjust spend accordingly.
- Provide valuable input into the development and implementation of the channel strategy for Simplot’s Foodservice Distributor customer base.
- Lead alignment between state and regional customer strategy and Simplot’s strategic pillars to achieve annual financial and growth goals.
- Accountable for the communication and dissemination of state and regional customer strategy and internal engagement and alignment of key stakeholders to deliver financial metrics.
- Accountable for the ‘health’ of the customer relationship, development and growth of customers at a state and regional level.
- High levels of collaboration with the wider Foodservice Sales and Channel Activation teams to ensure cohesion and delivery of both customer and Simplot strategy.
