Job Description

As State Sales Manager, you/'ll lead a team of sales engineers to deliver profitable growth across your region. You/'ll manage key accounts, including consultants and government departments, while identifying new market opportunities and driving strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, account planning, and reporting nationally. You/'ll also oversee product launches, staff training, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

The Successful Applicant

- Holds a degree in electrical or electronics engineering
- Has 5 plus years/' experience in technical sales or a defined target market
- Proven track record in developing new business and managing key accounts
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams
- Skilled in solution selling and project management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organised with effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Comfortable with strategic planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Professional approach to customer engagement and sales presentations
- Familiar with compliance, quality systems, and sustainability practices
- Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to national strategy
- Passionate about innovation and delivering customer success
- Thrives in a fast-paced, technically advanced environment
