**About the role**:
JBS Australia is currently recruiting an experienced Help Desk Officer to join the JBS Group IT Team in a permanent full-time capacity.
Based at our Southern Operations office in Port Melbourne, and reporting to the Service Desk Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.
This position is responsible for working within the Help Desk Team to assist end users through troubleshooting issues and completing service requests throughout JBS Australia.
**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
- Issue logging, fault finding, solving and escalation
- Acting as first point of contact for internal customer support
- Monitoring and logging support requests ensuring service level agreements are being met
- Resolve tickets at first point of contact when possible
- Communicating to the business when IT services/systems are being affected
- Escalating issues to appropriate IT team members
- In house and 3rd party systems troubleshooting
- Various admin and reporting tasks as required
**About You**:
- Technical IT accreditation (Level 1/2 IT Support Experience)
- Customer service focus with a keen passion for helping people
- Excellent verbal and phone communication skills
- Determined work ethic
