**Student Services Officer - Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC)**
The ECEC Student Services Officer has the responsibility to carry out the roles and functions required in the Early Childhood Education and Care Department to the standard required. The appointee must uphold the organisation’s Code of Ethics, strive for customer satisfaction, work as a team member, and project a favourable image of the College as the first point of contact.
**Key Performance Indicators**
- Answering the phone calls promptly
- Preparing final documents
- Good interpersonal skills
- Assisting on observation planning & communication with centres
- Handling queries from students
- Updating assessment results
**Key Accountabilities**
1. Carry out Student Services coordinating functions in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures
2. Greet visitors and answer client queries quickly and efficiently
3. Provide a high-level customer service at all times
4. Provide assistance and advice to students as required
5. Undertake general Student Services, office duties and typing documentation
6. Maintain student files
7. Maintain student database system for student contact details, results, class rolls and attendance
8. Manage student COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) on PRISMS
9. Issue student documents
10. Maintain confidentiality and security of student records and files at all times
11. Issue receipts for student payments for course fees
12. Attend staff meetings and staff training as required
13. Meet compliance obligations of Standards for RTOs, National Code and ESOS Act
14. Participate in Workplace Health and Safety requirements
15. Assist the Course Coordinator as required
**Essential Criteria**
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for managing student files and documentation accurately.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with students, trainers, and placement centres effectively.
- Customer Service: A friendly and helpful attitude with the ability to assist and support students as needed.
- Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with office software and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated commitment and reliability in previous roles.
**Job Types**: Full-Time (8 hour shift: 9:00am - 5:00pm)
