At Group Colleges Australia (GCA), we are dedicated to providing quality education and exceptional service to our students. As a Student Services Officer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students through their academic journey, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

About the Role

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Registrar (based in Adelaide), this role is at the frontline of student engagement. You'll provide high-quality customer service to students, assisting with a range of enquiries, handling administrative tasks and supporting compliance processes to ensure smooth student services operations.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the welcoming face of the Sydney campus
  • Deliver exceptional service via face-to-face, email, chat, and phone
  • Support students with credit transfers, refunds, enrolments, payments, release letters, deferments, leave, and course extensions
  • Assist with PRISMS processes, including CoE variations and cancellations
  • Manage VEVO enquiries and enrolment reconciliation reports
  • Oversee student surveys and contribute to engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate events such as orientations, workshops, and activities with the Campus Manager
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership team

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field
  • Experience in student services or education administration
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to new systems, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively
  • Empathy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • Legal right to work full-time in Australia
  • (Desirable) Experience in higher education, knowledge of PRISMS/VEVO systems, and multilingual skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
