Sales Manager

**You will be responsible for the expansion of sales and services to the design and trade sector in Melbourne and will work closely with the marketing and design teams.**:
You will be entrepreneurial with demonstrated sales experience and success in securing new business within the design industry. You will be a self-starter with a sales focus, able to access new markets segments and build relationships. You will be comfortable working on your own as well as cohesively within a team. You will have a passion for design and a high standard of excellence in all that you do.
**Business Development & Responsibilities**:
Analyse market segments and existing customer base & identify opportunities;
- Prepare a sales strategy and plan for each market segment;
- Create sales leads by cold calling;
- Meet quarterly sales targets;
- Secure, coordinate and manage large scale projects;
- Submit activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses;
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques;
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments;
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Work with the marketing team to increase brand and product awareness on social media;
- Plan and execute an annual marketing and promotional calendar for the trade market; and
- Work from the Richmond showroom & create marketing events.
