$80,000, plus superannuation.
Plus additional benefits, including the following:

  • Compensation:
    Increase your earnings with quarterly and annual bonuses available
  • Vehicle: You'll be paid a $16,800 car allowance to cover the cost of travel as part of the role
  • Autonomy:
    Work from a home office base in an independent role
  • Territory:
    Manage a territory across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand
  • Exposure:
    Travel includes a couple of annual business trips to Melbourne and New Zealand
  • Growth:
    Manage and successfully grow direct customer accounts through development and maintenance, and generate new business via cold calling and generated leads
  • Support:
    Be responsible for the training, development, and support of assigned authorised distributors.

Key responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and grow sales within the assigned territory while adhering to mandatory reporting and forecasting requirements.

  • Customer management:
    Account development and maintenance of existing direct customers in the territory
  • New business:
    Cold calling to develop new business, supported by generated sales leads
  • Distributor support:
    Training, development, and support of assigned authorised distributors
  • Reporting:
    Mandatory daily contact updates and ongoing project opportunity updates using Salesforce CRM, adhering to company guidelines
  • Forecasting:
    Maintaining accurate short- to mid-term forecasting to contribute significantly to the Asia-Pacific region's budgeting analysis
  • Review:
    Complete a once-a-year formal budget and goal package review.

Your skills and experience

  • Salesforce:
    Proven background in formal reporting, contact management, and opportunity tracking using Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Forecasting:
    Extended experience in maintaining accurate short- to mid-term sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Customer management:
    Demonstrated success in account development, maintenance of existing accounts, and cold calling for new business
  • Autonomy:
    Exceptional self-motivation and time management skills to successfully perform in a remote, unsupervised home-office role
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage key accounts, train distributors, and produce formal reporting.

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Lotus Notes:
    Familiarity with Lotus Notes as an email platform.
