**About the Role**:

As the General Manager of Commercial Product and Portfolios, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of Allianz’s commercial insurance offerings. Your primary mission will be to set the strategy and ensure the delivery of profitable growth across all lines of business within the commercial portfolio. You will lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering on Allianz Australia Limited’s (AAL) customer value proposition, fostering a high-performing culture where people and performance matter.
**Other key aspects of the role**:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Commercial Product and Portfolio strategy.
- Oversee product governance, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation.
- Collaborate with IT and other internal stakeholders to drive product innovation and simplification.
- Deliver growth and profitability targets, providing regular reporting and insights.
- Create an omni-channel customer experience that aligns with Allianz’s standards.
- Achieve Allianz Customer Metrics (ACM) targets for STP, conversion, and retention.
**Important to your success**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or industry-recognized accreditation.
- Extensive senior management experience in portfolio management within a complex, matrixed financial services organization.
- Deep technical expertise in commercial insurance products and comprehensive industry knowledge.
- Strong strategic, tactical selling, and relationship management skills.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent communication skills.
