**Your new role**
- Support the Project Manager in delivering the detailed Program Management Plan, including at a minimum, the scope, stages, change management, benefit realisation plan, risk management, project assurance, reporting, roadmap and Gantt chart, resourcing, structure and high-level Program budget
- Support the negotiation and engagement with stakeholders to achieve the successful delivery of the Program Management Plan
- Collaborate with and mentor other team members, leveraging strengths within the team to deliver on activity plans and projects
- Maintain effective working relationships and collaboration with the team and key internal and external stakeholders
- Prioritise and schedule project activities and tasks to meet deadlines, commitments and deliver priority outcomes
- Draft high level submissions and communicate complex ideas to senior management and stakeholders
- Demonstrate commitment to the department’s core values of strong customer service, teamwork, open communication, leadership and innovation
- Manage competing priorities and perform other tasks as required by the Project Manager and team members

**What you'll need to succeed**
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience as a project officer and be comfortable with high level stakeholder engagement. You will need experience when it comes to risk assessment, project and program budgeting functions, change management, reporting and the drafting of high level submissions and communications. You will be confident managing competing priorities and timelines and have a well developed written and verbal communication skills.
