**Your new role**
- Support the existing team develop grant guidelines, eligibility criteria, assessment methodology, plans, reporting etc aligned with the department’s framework
- Contribute to the design, development and implementation of data collection, information and strategic reporting for identified grant programs administered by the department
- Compile, analyse, interpret and report on data and other information to inform performance monitoring, program design, implementation, evaluation and strategy
- Prioritise and schedule project activities and tasks to meet deadlines, commitments and deliver priority outcomes
- Provide advice to support strong grant program governance and risk minimisation
- Undertake the preparation of timely, quality, well researched and thorough documents including reports, briefings, improvement registers and other documentation as required
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships supported through strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication
- Demonstrate commitment to the department’s core values of strong customer service, teamwork, open communication, leadership and innovation.

**What you'll need to succeed**
The successful applicant will need demonstrated experience in a project officer capacity with the ability to develop and maintain high level stakeholder relationships. You will also need experience when it comes to grants, including skills relating to the development of eligibility criteria, assessment methodologies, plans and reporting materials. Experience supporting governance and risk management activities is also a necessity as are highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
