**About the Company**

Davidson Technology are currently supporting a central ICT Procurement function (end to end procurement), who are responsible for all ICT related goods and services for 3 state government departments, to secure an AO6 Procurement Officer on 6-month contract with the potential for extension.

**About the Role**

As a key member of the team, you'll provide expert guidance to senior management and departmental staff, ensuring compliance with the Queensland Procurement Policy within a centralised procurement environment.

Your role will encompass leading both routine and substantial ICT procurement projects, overseeing everything from procurement plans and tender development to contract negotiation and management using the Queensland Information Technology Contracting framework (QITC).

Your responsibilities will extend to conducting thorough research, preparing intricate submissions, and providing senior management with essential reports and briefing materials. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in fostering strong and strategic relationships within the department, across government agencies, and with their valued suppliers.

**About You**

You’ll be a Procurement Officer who's not just dynamic and results-driven, but also possesses a genuine passion for ICT procurement excellence. Your extensive experience in Queensland Government ICT Sourcing (including in depth knowledge of the QPP, QITC contracts and PCP Level 3 or CIPS) will enable you to hit the ground running, seamlessly integrating into this high-performing team of professionals, and quickly adapting to their practices and systems. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the department's procurement activities.
