Our client runs a busy specialist surgical practice and is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to manage the daily activities of a busy clinic, prepare surgical quotes and bookings as well as line manage a small yet capable administration team.

The clinic operates Monday to Friday, with the expected office hours to be 9.00am-5.00pm. There is a degree of flexibility available for some early starts and/or early finishes depending on business and staffing needs.

**Key areas of responsibility include**:

- Manage all surgical quotes, bookings and theatre lists across multiple public and private hospitals in Sydney and Dubbo
- Manage logistics and bookings for accommodation and flights for the surgeon
- Manage, review and implement clinic processes and procedures to maximise efficiency
- Manage a full-time and very capable medical receptionist and provide cover on the front desk during periods of annual leave
- Proof read medical correspondence (typing is outsourced) and prepare invoicing, process casual staff wages and liaise with accountant regarding financial matters
- Support with digital media advertising and marketing on various platforms including social media
- Previous experience working in a practice management role in a specialist surgical practice (essential)
- Proven experience in overseeing the running of a busy surgical clinic
- Sound knowledge of surgical booking and quoting processes
- Excellent people skills to relate well to patients and staff
- Solid communications skills and a high level of patient care
- IT savvy - experience with social media platforms and medical software programs (Shexie preferred)
