**Your Role**:
The Executive Correspondence Officer works in a supportive team environment to:
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships and networks with clients and officers of the department to ensure a culture of service delivery and achievement of negotiated guidelines.
- Support the Assistant Director-General by providing advice in response to Ministerial and departmental enquiries on human resources matters.
This role is located at Education House in Brisbane's CBD and reports to the Principal Advisor, Office of the Assistant Director-General, Human Resources Branch, People, Information and Communication Services Division.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Coordinate the flow of correspondence throughout the branch, including distribution and tracking, to ensure the efficient and timely preparation of departmental briefs and responses.
- Effectively manage systems and processes across the branch, negotiating deadlines and timeframes and liaising with staff to ensure deadlines are met.
- Continually seek improvements in administrative systems and processes, leading by example and seeking feedback from all stakeholders.
- Communicate confidently, structuring written and oral communication to ensure clarity while responding to all enquiries in a courteous manner and within appropriate timelines.
