At Tennis Australia, we’re creating a more playful world through tennis - for everyone.
From grassroots to Grand Slams, tennis brings people together, inspires communities, and builds champions on and off the court.
We’re a team of imaginative and passionate people who believe in the power of sport to make a difference. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
Are you ready to shape the future of tennis in Australia? We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Marketing Lead to join our Tennis Brand Marketing team. In this exciting role, you’ll support the Marketing Manager to bring to life national campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and participation across our tennis programs.
You’ll work closely with creative, production, media, and stakeholder teams—both internal and external—to plan and execute integrated, insight-led campaigns. From campaign strategy and asset development to stakeholder management and performance optimisation, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering powerful marketing that makes an impact.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Support the delivery of strategic marketing campaigns for participation programs.
- Coordinate creative development, media, production, and campaign execution across digital, social, print, and major event channels.
- Write compelling briefs and campaign narratives aligned with Tennis Australia’s brand and audience goals.
- Liaise with agencies and stakeholders to manage timelines, approvals, and campaign performance.
- Champion the tennis brand and ensure creative excellence across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with internal teams, Member Associations, and external partners to amplify our participation message.
About you
You have a strong understanding of digital, social, and traditional media channels, and know how to leverage each to drive results. With excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, you’re confident collaborating across teams and bringing ideas to life. You bring creative thinking, a can-do attitude, take initiative, have high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively, always approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Bring end-to-end and integrated campaign experience, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Confidently manage agency partners (creative and media) and coordinate projects across multiple departments.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and work collaboratively across teams.
- Use data and insights to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Manage budgets effectively, with experience in reporting, forecasting, and delivering within financial constraints.
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional, solutions-focused mindset that inspires confidence and drives outcomes
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
What’s to love?
- Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunities
- Tickets to the Australian Open plus Superbox tickets to events at Rod Laver & Melbourne Arena
- Monthly health & wellbeing activities with access to CorePlus Pilates
- Onsite gym, tennis facilities & free onsite car parking
- Salary packaging & a range of discounts from our sponsorship partners
- Attractive leave benefits - with up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave for all primary caregivers and Sorry Business and Ceremonial Leave for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees
