Sales & Marketing Lead – Niche Property Testing & Reporting

Full-Time | CBD Location | Car Allowance + Advertising Allowance Provided

A new subsidiary business is being established to deliver specialised testing and reporting services for new home purchases. The service integrates mould testing, leak detection, engineering assessments, building inspections, and pest inspections into a single, credible reporting suite trusted by buyers, vendors, and industry stakeholders.

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Lead to establish, grow, and scale this business. This is a unique opportunity to shape a niche service from the ground up, develop industry relationships, and drive market adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing roadmap to build brand presence and market share.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers, insurers, and vendors/purchasers.
  • Design and implement strategic campaigns (digital, print, and partnership-driven) to generate leads.
  • Build and manage a client acquisition pipeline across Victoria and Queensland, with structured reporting to management.
  • Oversee branding, collateral, and digital content creation to position the business as the leading authority in pre-purchase inspections.
  • Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and operational teams to ensure reports meet industry-leading standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven background in sales, business development, or marketing within property, building, engineering, or insurance sectors.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers (agents, conveyancers, brokers, and insurers).
  • Experience in campaign management – both digital (SEO/PPC/social) and traditional (brochures, event marketing).
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and credible presence.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a start-up/scale-up environment.
