Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our Bayswater plant. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.

We are currently seeking a **Technical Sales Representative - Acoustics**to join our NSW team on a full time basis.

Reporting to the NSW State Manager, you will have the task of continually growing the Autex Acoustics product range through its existing client base along with identifying new business opportunities across the Architecture and Design, Consultants, Contractors and Supplier market.

Most importantly, you will be a Brand Ambassador and reflect our Autex values to market.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Development of customer action and call plans to achieve Sales growth targets.
- Implement call plans & call cycles to develop customer relationships, identify growth opportunities and achieve sales and business goals.
- Specialising in Acoustics, maintain up to date product and market knowledge to provide customers with all information to promote sales across all Autex Acoustics products and services.
- Complete customer call reports & provide management with feedback on key customer activities & business opportunities utilising Insightly CRM.
- Annual budgeting by customer and monthly forecasting.
- Lead customer sales quotation, quotation pipeline and follow-up processes.
- Liaise with customers to understand their current and future needs and maintain an exceptional customer service engagement.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:

- A relevant bachelor’s degree.
- A high degree of commercial acumen, including excellent communication skills, customer focus, contract negotiation and marketing skills.
- Experience (5 years) in a similar role working within the building and construction industry, with at least 1-2 years’ experience in the selling of Acoustics and demonstrated results across sales growth and improved field execution.
- Ability to identify opportunities using resources such as EstimateOne, BCI and act swiftly to secure sales.
- Ability to solve technical problems & offer technical solutions.
- Strong organisational and team working skills with ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently.
- Australian Driver's license.
