**We seek a suitably qualified individual to provide effective and efficient information management services within the City of Melville. **As our Information Management Officer, you will be responsible for
- Providing administrative support in accordance with defined document and information management management principles.
- Assisting with the management, storage, retrieval, and eventual destruction (where appropriate) of records.
- Assisting with the implementation of the City’s Record Keeping Plan in accordance with the State Records Act 2000.
- Providing assistance to the other Information Management Team members as well as assisting with project work as required.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in the use of electronic document management systems.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and an ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Sound organizational and time management skills
