**The City of Melville has an exciting opportunity in our Environmental Health team, for a motivated and talented individual who is keen to support the strategic objectives of the City through the provision and maintenance of Health Services programs and initiatives.**
**As our Environmental Health Officer, you’ll be responsible for**
- The design, development, implantation and monitoring of City of Melville’s food and health premises activities for public health and safety.
- Designing and implementing publicity campaigns, in consultation with Marketing, to provide information on City of Melville environmental health promotions.
- Assisting in reports, proposals, and recommendations to improve initiations within Environmental Health Services.
- Providing Environmental Health Assessments and education within City of Melville.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Experience in the field of Environmental/ Public Health.
- Experience in the undertaking and analysis of environmental health assessments and environmental health reports.
- Experience in writing environmental health reports and the maintenance of polices.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Qualifications acceptable to the Executive Director of Public Health for appointment as an Environmental Health Officer or authorised person.
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
