**The City of Melville has an exciting opportunity for passionate Aquatic Service Officers.** We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to support the daily operations of the LeisureFit Centres to ensure an efficient, safe, and welcoming environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that areas around the Aquatic facilities are always a safe and enjoyable place. Working alongside our Duty Officer, you will assist in co-ordinating the day-to-day operations of our facility with the highest regard for safety, as well as the highest regard for delivering an exceptional customer service and experience.
As our Aquatic Service Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring the aquatic area and always providing pool supervision. You will adhere to follow all Occupation Health and Safety requirements and will work proactively to promote and support a holistic safety culture.
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Current Applied First Aid Certificate.
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Sound interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience in pool supervision.
- Experience in recreation or aquatic facility operations.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards.
