The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) is the peak professional body for Quantity Surveying professionals. AIQS is a not-for-profit that operates with Chapters in each state of Australia and internationally.

**About the Role**
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the administration, planning, and coordination of the successful delivery of various educational programs and events across AIQS. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders and interstate volunteers to organise and coordinate a range of events.

The events range from both in-person and online events, including CPD Events, Webinars, Workshops, Seminars, Annual Conference, Member Engagement & Networking events, etc.

**About the Person**

You will have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- End-to-end coordination & execution of all in-person & online events
- Maintain the Education & Events Calendar
- Engage with state volunteers & key stakeholders in planning events
- Conduct venue research, collect & review quotes
- Liaise with third parties including suppliers, venues, sponsors, presenters, catering, etc.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns for events with the marketing team
- Support with general admin tasks, monitor invoices, process payments & budget allocation
- Attend the events you organise to offer logístical support (as required)

- Outstanding organisational, time management & event coordination skills
- Excellent attention to detail & multitasking skills
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
- Be digitally savvy, have a general understanding of tech eg. MS Suite, CRM systems
- A can-do attitude, high-level of initiative & team player
- Ability to build & maintain relationships internally & externally
