Sales Coordinator / Receptionist
to join our team.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, client-facing position that combines
front-of-house reception
and
sales coordination support
.
You'll be the first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism and warmth. Working closely with our national sales and operations teams, you'll play a key role in keeping communication flowing, enquiries on track, and the business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Be the first point of contact for inbound calls, emails, and visitors across all Select Events brands
- Deliver a professional, positive, and consistent client experience
- Manage and log enquiries in
Zoho CRM
, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up - Support client communication, meeting coordination, and appointment scheduling
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to coordinate event details
- Assist with preparation of client proposals, reports, and documentation
- Provide administrative and ad hoc support to BDMs and management
- Maintain front-of-house presentation, meeting rooms, and general office organisation
Reporting & Accountability
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports (pipeline activity, sales summaries, upcoming jobs)
- Track enquiries, client feedback, and follow-ups in CRM systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process or communication efficiencies
About You and Qualifications
- Experience in
administration, reception, or coordination
(events or hospitality an advantage) - Background in
client-facing roles
where attention to detail and service quality are key - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident, clear, and professional
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
- Strong understanding of
sales processes and lead follow-up discipline - Comfortable using CRM systems (Zoho experience highly regarded) and Microsoft Office
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude with a genuine team-first mindset
- Confident communicator who can liaise across
sales, operations, and management teams - Professional presentation and a strong sense of accountability
