**About the Company**
This privately-owned food importer, distributor and manufacturer has recognisable brand names with a focus on Quality and Food Safety. Located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and sitting within a wider Quality team, the business are looking for a Continuous Improvement & Systems Lead to implement and constantly improve best practice compliance standards.

**About the Role**
As the Food Safety Continious Improvement & Systems Lead, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a robust food safety culture, streamlining processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all departments. You will be responsible for leading and implementing strategies to ensure compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence, while also enhancing our customer experience and vendor assurance programs.

To be successful in the position, you will be passionate about implementing and improving technology systems to get the best results from a quality perspective. This will include integrating systems and utilizing six sigma methodologies to optimize processes, efficiency, and compliance.

**Skills & Experience**
- Technical qualification in food safety or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in improvement methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis and Lean Six Sigma.
- Excellent data analysis skills, including proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Solution-focused mindset.
- Experience with DMS SharePoint and related IT skills preferred.
