**About the role**
We are on the lookout for a superstar sales gun to join us as a Sales Account Manager. You will be responsible for actively prospecting new business opportunities, establish and maintain long term customer relationships within the professional salon network, as well as achieve growth through the current customer base and the acquisition of new accounts. Your drive will see you proactively identifying new opportunities with a focus on continuously developing and driving brand awareness for a fun and exciting hair colour range.
**Deliverables and Responsibilities**
- Grow and manage existing customer base - Hair Salons
- Continuously drive new business opportunities to promote sales and revenue
- Responsible for business development of professional hair colour ranges
- Manage sales pipeline for horizontal and vertical growth
- Coordinate presentation and product demonstration during the introduction of new products and services to customers
- Review the loyalty program levels and identify key sales and penetration opportunities
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and recommend sales strategies to improve profitability
- Demonstrate proficiency with technology such to influence internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes
- Liaise with internal teams to respond to customer enquiries, with customer experience front of mind
- Participate and represent the company at trade, industry and launch events
- Report on sales activity, including new accounts and opportunities
**Skills and Experience required**
- Haircare or closely related industry experience
- Demonstrates previous sales experience managing a large area and working towards KPI’s with a great desire to grow accounts and develop new business
- Possesses exceptional time management and organizational skills (including selling, planning and preparation skills)
- Takes accountability and is self-motivated and driven to achieve and succeed
- Is competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Suite of Programs
- Is a quick learner and can hit the ground running
- Is a self-starter with strong negotiation and communication skills
- Can support customers to develop business plans for future grow
- Hairdressing knowledge or experience (desirable but not essential)
