Approach has partnered with one of Canberra's largest consultancies to build out the HR team in a greenfield business area.
**The Role**
As a HR officer you will be working within the broader HR team, working with business partners and senior stakeholders to implement policy and procedure change within the business. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this will be a developmental opportunity within one of Canberra's largest consultancies. You will be tasked with looking after a specific business area, providing advice and guidance to stakeholders around HR practices. You will also have an opportunity to work on larger projects within the business, to implement and improve policy and standard operating procedures.
**What you need**
- Qualifications in Human Resources including HR, Industrial Relations, workforce planning, changing legislative requirements
- Experience working with Unions
- Project Management experience
- Deliver HR advice and effective management of people, performance and procedures essential to maintaining a stable workforce including WHS, Workers Compensation and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
- Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to deal with multiple and often competing priorities
- Demonstrated proficiency in systems and HR record keeping
