Seeing Machines is growing globally, and we are looking for a HR (People and Culture) Officer to help drive our success.
Working within a small team, the P&C Officer supports the People & Culture team to deliver HR generalist services to increase the competitive advantage of Seeing Machines through its people and processes.
The role delivers effective and timely administration, general HR advice and customer service support across the People & Culture function including maintaining HR records, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, retention, and development.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Be the first point of contact for all general HR enquiries, researching and responding in a timely manner.
- Support the administration processes for all aspects of the employment lifecycle including recruitment, probation reviews and offboarding processes
- Be responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the company people records, information and databases
- Participating in continuous improvement projects to strengthen HR processes and activities and actively contribute to new P&C initiatives and strategic HR projects
- Oversee the onboarding of all new starters to Seeing Machines including generating and reviewing employment contracts and other employment-related documentation, undertaking induction and orientation sessions processes including establishing new starters in NetSuite and assisting managers to facilitate effective staff inductions
- Oversee the administration processes for probationary reviews, performance development reviews and offboarding processes in addition to providing support to the team around yearly performance and salary reviews, company salary benchmarking and engagement surveys
- Act as the P&C Team liaison for all Seeing Machines payroll activities and ensure the maintenance and integrity of the company people records, information and databases (NetSuite etc.) to ensure accuracy and availability of information where required
- Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures, templates, and other relevant documentation associated HR systems and processes
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with all P&C team members, managers, employees and, where required, with external organisations in relation to HR matters
- Comply with all SM policies and procedures, and in particular those relating to work health and safety and equal opportunity
- Perform other duties as requested, consistent with the level of the position and in line with the principle of multi-skilling
About you

- Progress toward, or completion of a Degree or formal qualifications in HR, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and qualification
- Demonstrated experience working in an administrative environment
- Demonstrated high level customer service and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use initiative, investigate issues and to make recommendations
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality with a demonstrated ability to use discretion and deal effectively with uncertainty, change and ambiguity
- Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency using the MS Office suite
