**About the role**

Reporting to the Head of Brand & Advertising, the Brand Manager is responsible for setting the future direction of the Sportsbet brand and communications. The role entails proactively contributing and developing the strategic marketing plan, formulating competitive go-to-market strategies, leading a team to deliver high quality campaigns and leading and measuring the success of brand initiatives. The Brand Manager will understand consumer insights, what drives brand equity and will be responsible for the continuous development of the Sportsbet brand. They will also lead and manage relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure high impact delivery of projects and campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

- Influence strategic brand decisions; proactively identify & implement new opportunities and ideas.
- Lead strategic marketing plans as well as formulating competitive go-to-market strategies.
- Own brand consistency & brand initiatives and act as the lead brand guardian for the business
- Lead brand projects by delivering on the strategy, plan, processes and outcomes within a timely manner and consulting relevant stakeholders
- Manage the strategy and GTM plan of above and below the line marketing campaigns to deliver on the Brand & Communications Strategy and Brand Positioning.
- Monitor and manage brand and campaign performance alongside customer’s perceptions

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who understands how to leverage brand codes, tone-of-voice, positioning and storytelling in communications. Ideally, you will also have:

- Experience in end to end campaign management with a key focus on brand positioning
- Strong marketing and commercial acumen with experience in leading a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- An interest the sports and racings sector with an understanding of our industry
