**Key responsibilities**:
- Work closely with and support the HR Manager on HR initiatives across all Australian businesses, mainly in Melbourne office.
- Implement HR activities such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and other employee relations matters.
- First point of contact for HR advice on Employment legislation, HR system operations, HR policies and processes, Employee Well-being program, etc.
- Assist with negotiating enterprise agreements with the management teams.
- Maintain HRIS (Success Factors) with new hires and employee data changes
- Support capability development initiatives, including training.
- Provide support to the management team and implement HR programs from the organizational strategy.
- Willingness to optimise processes and strive for continuous improvement.
**Skills and Qualification Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (HR, industrial relations, business management, law).
- 3+ years' experience in a HR generalist role gained from a sizable company, ideally Engineering or similar.
- Experience with EBA establishment and execution is preferred.
- Strong MS Office skills are mandatory, further knowledge of HRIS such as Success Factors will be of advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong ownership culture with the ability to work independently.
- Can-do attitude, with initiative and efficiency.
