We are passionate about what we do, and proud of our team and achievements, and an exciting opportunity now exists for a passionate HR Generalist to join us.
- Managing the daily HR function for the Australian business (the role does not have any payroll or hands on recruitment responsibilities)
- Supporting managers and employees with HR related questions and matters, and providing sound advice and guidance to managers
- Developing and implementing local policies
- Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders
- Keeping abreast of relevant legal, IR and other regulatory requirements, and updating the business as necessary
- Other HR related ad hoc projects and tasks as required or directed by the Global VP of HR

More about you:

- Previous experience working as a HR Generalist/Coordinator/Manager (or similar)
- Knowledgeable of general human resources policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of Australian industrial relations legislation - it is not expected that you have an in-depth knowledge, however you will know the IR framework and where to research if you are unsure
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Proactive attitude and ability to use your initiative
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize, juggle multiple tasks and meet short deadline, often with limited guidance
- Professional demeanour and presentation, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Proven ability to exercise discretion at all times
